Let’s get down to the details, the big financial help that’s available to you through grants (yes that’s grants not loans) so that you can start building and take a big step out of what was 2020. Give yourself a pat on the back, a walk in the sunshine, a jump in the lake for making it this far (it might be a touch cold for that last one but we still suggest it, it\’s refreshing).
Throughout everything that’s happened during this worldwide pandemic, opportunities have bloomed surrounding online business. The flexibility is outstanding. If you’re looking to step into the digital game let’s take a look at a few programs that are available to you.
Launch Online
If you’re a small to medium sized business (under 149 employees) our Provincial government has put together the Launch Online Grant program as part of Stronger BC. Through our province’s economic recovery plan, the program has received additional funding and an extended deadline of September 30, 2021.
The grant will pay up to 75% of eligible expenses. And the best part, the application process is painless. If you’re feeling stuck let us help you write your grant proposal so that you can get online and start offering your products or services to the world. We’re super fun, full of laughs and love to kill it in the digital world. Funds must be used to hire BC companies to help jump start our economy (wink wink, nudge nudge).

Small and Medium Sized Business Recovery Grant
Next up, the Small and Medium Sized Business Recovery Grant program. For this grant, there are many ways to use your funding to help you grow. From building a new patio to updating outdated rooms, to you guessed it, updating your online presence. The tourism sector even gets a top up of additional funding to help those hardest hit. The sky’s never the limit and we’d love to help you dream up a lean mean recovery machine.
It’s a bit more work to apply for this grant as financial data is needed, but the opportunity is worth the effort. Eligibility and the steps are actually laid out well (who would have thought?), so strap in and dream.
