How to Manage ALL your Social Media Sites?
Have you been wondering if there is an easy way to manage all of those social media sites that you have? Look no further, after testing and using multiple platforms, figuring out the likes and don’t likes, I’ve narrowed it down!
But first, lets take a step back and discuss the top social media sites and if they are for you. Taking a look at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. They each offer different ways to interact with your customers. Take a look at what your targeted audience is using the most and become a mast of only a few of those social media sites. How does the saying go? Jack of all trades, master of none. It’s best to master a few social sites before jumping in and utilizing them all.
I often get asked how I make the time to do so many things in a day. I have a few great tools that I utilize that really help me, especially when it comes to social media.
Hootsuite is one of those great tools. Their service allows me to be able to connect all of my social media sites and schedule posting to be released in the future. This doesn’t mean that I am completely hands off when it comes to social media, as it is always important to respond to questions, comments and conversations whenever they arise from your customers. However, Hootsuite easily allows me to upload my social media strategy and have it sent out, while providing my reports and analytics to determine what is working best.
Speaking of strategy, I have also developed this really great editorial calendar that allows me to plan my overall social strategy throughout the year. I choose topics that I want to cover, key blog posts that I think my clients would find helpful and of course social media planning that allows me to easily see what is getting posted when, interesting articles that I’ve read and what goals I want to achieve.
