Challenge
We pride ourselves on our long-lasting client relationships and Swiss Chalet Motel is no exception. With a successful partnership spanning 8 years, we’ve worked closely with this amazing, locally-owned Revelstoke small business, and there’s plenty more to come. Covid posed a huge challenge to Swiss Chalet Motel with their tourism-based business.
Goal
Moxie was tasked with a deep dive into the tourism landscape and to re-imagine how best Swiss Chalet Motel could pivot to serve customers and meet the requirements of an in-person business operating during Covid. We aimed to offer up a roadmap for the business that would not only allow Swiss Chalet Motel to survive but for them to thrive by increasing market share, brand currency, and consumer awareness.

With the new brand identity came a full update of digital and print collateral, including the website, social media, billboards, in-room print materials, and much more.
Phase 2 tackled the modernization of Swiss Chalet Motel’s digital presence with a focus on the website. After a full UX and UI update, the website is now both functional and in keeping with the heritage brand roll-out. Customers are able to search for rooms and information with ease, allowing for a smooth booking journey and access to a wealth of inspiration and ideas for their time in Revelstoke.
Overall, the updates across the Swiss Chalet Motel brand have improved the customer journey and brand integrity, leading to increased awareness, customer sentiment, and revenue. That’s great news for a great, local business.
