The Outdoor Recreation Council of BC is a non-profit that speaks up for the outdoor places where we play.
Challenge
The Outdoor Recreation Council of BC has worked with a third party to launch a new website but were without a brand identity or brand guidelines representative of their new site. Team members and content creators were struggling to create consistent brand assets without guidelines.
Goal
To extract a brand identity and develop an accessible set of brand guidelines representative of the website for use by wider teams.
Outcome
We created a clear and concise set of guidelines that express and break down the outdoorsy brand of ORCBC. We used the widely recognized green circle, blue square and black diamond to showcase three levels of asset creation so that branded content could be created regardless of design experience. We also crafted a series of simplified email templates for the team to work with.
